M'kay folks, It seems that 2009 is the year of the zombie, (I'm probably going to get L4D2 for Christmas) so I decided to post up some HvZ tactics, as the game type is getting more and more popular:
Humans
.Accuracy is very important for combating zombies, as you are fighting a rushing melee oriented enemy.
.Sidearms are recommended if one wants to retain speed and full movement during an HvZ battle, I recommend an AR-removed, minimized Crossfire.
.If you do want to use a larger weapon, a magstrike or turreted weapon is a good idea.
.Effective turreted weapons are: Berserkers, mavericks, any of the buzzbee "Tek" line, AZAS's, DTB's, Fireflies, and so on.
.A reliable RSCB can turn a high powered outdoor weapon into a formidable close-range gun, coupler-ed guns are recommended, as they allow for use of shotgun barrels and speed-loaders.
Zombies
.Since you, as a zombie are using your bare hands or a melee weapon, espionage is a good idea, move fluently and quietly for maximum effectiveness.
.Wear clothes that allow for free movement, and make you less noticeable (I am not implying that one should use camo or ski masks, as that delves into mil-sim) black hoodies and khaki's are good at night, when the atmosphere is cool and dark, shorts and a T-shirt are good for a brighter, sunnier atmosphere during the day.
.Good melee weapons consist of the following: PVC core pool noodles, Nerf swords, Nerf arrow maces (A Nerf arrow stuck or glued into a hollow plastic shaft) and padded PVC weapons.
.Travel in packs and overwhelm single players or smaller groups, as a zombie can generally only be stunned for a few seconds.

Well folks...UPDATE! The cheesiest sith lord (You know who you are) gave me the idea of some classes:

.HUMANS
.Survivalist: If your like me, you play HvZ with the humans simply trying to last as long as possible, thats where our friend the survivalist comes in handy. The survivalist is no gung-ho anti-zombie guru, as his objective is simply to survive, he or she will often bare a pair of pistols (Maybe 1) and a compact melee weapon with clothes that fit the scenario.
.The Joe: This guy is your average nerfer turned survivor, Joe bears a classic gun such as a 3B or 2K, and is a balanced fighter. Joe's versatility allows for him to mold to any HvZ scenario, his combination of speed and ordinance can get him far, but he can't support a team single handedly, so variety is still needed.
.The Slavic defender: An obvious reference to the Heavy of TF2 and my ancestry (I'm a quarter Polish), the Slav carries the big guns, 4B's, titans, singled longshots, shotgunned weapons, and larger automatics, he is meant to be the big cheese of offense, he serves as an escort for weaker players who have been tagged, and can hold his own against other zombies due to his arsenal. Though his weight and size make him a large target, the Slav can still play an important role in a human victory.

ZOMBIES
.The classic: A well rounded, melee tap oriented zombie, this guy is all purpose, as his flexibility allows for solo ambushes and pack offensives, have a good number of these guys on your team.
.The Meat-Man: The Meat-Man often bares a melee weapon, a big one, were talking a PVC core pool noodle, or one of Yazzeh's awesome customs. Mr.Meaty is meant for overwhelming offensives, and has an intimidation factor as well as powerful arsenal.

This is all I have at the moment, please feel free to post up more classes and tactics.

Note: In no way do I endorse mil-sim, overly complicated classes, or anything that doesn't boil down to nerfing as a hobby and sport, not a war-game to get as close to a real military conflict as possible.

Another good weapon for Humans to use is the raider or any clipped gun as long as you have the necessary amounts of ammo. And if you're using a gun that uses a lot of ammo, keep about 100 extra darts in a drawstring backpack. A good tactic for Humans to use is the buddy system. Have one person cover your retreating end, the other watch around front. Also, when rounding any corners you may encounter, be as far away from the corner as possible, as the zombies may be right there in ambush.

If you want to be the last man standing I like the "betray your friends" tactic. "Hey zombies, Mike's out of ammo!" Good for lots of lulz Cheesy
Also Raider, Berserker and Belt Blaster ftw.

If you're gonna use any missiles, make sure you have a "missiles have an area of affect" rule.  Otherwise the Beserker's(or other missile firing gun's) missile is useless.

Two other great gun for the humans is an inline clipped ERTL RFSG or an inline clipped Lanard Quadshot. There is more time to shoot but also a lot of time is used to reload but not as often hence the more time to shoot.
