Well the site's growing pretty rapidly, I think posting ads in sigs helped. Any ideas for more traffic here? I'm thinking we need to get a bigshot like Baghead or FA24 to make an account here.

The Administrators are in the process of discussing this. I am sure that a whole-hearted community with many people that care and enjoy Nerf will draw in many more people than advertising or other methods can do for us. Share your passion for NERF with and and mention us at the same time. That is the best way to increase traffic. I am unsure of the effects of an imported big shot; however, original content and our own homegrown bigshot is what is required. Volunteerism is appreciated.  Sincerely, BJ |

After I posted that vid on youtube about FA24, he's been pretty friendly to me. Should I invite him to FoamU? If FA24 is here it would draw many other people that don't know about us as well as jerks who dislike FU.

And let me tell you that that work is quite necessary; I haven't been able to stand NHQ since shortly after NerfMonkey (another cool dude, no matter what you might hear about him) left that forum. Hopefully, Badger can whip it back into a productive yet community-oriented site. To reiterate BJ's post: any "bashing" is against the rules of this forum and will be dealt with. In particular, I will not tolerate any more negative comments about Badger based upon online interactions. And I do know which of you haven't met him. |

You should not judge people on how they act on the internet. Sarcasm and jokes are not always displayed properly with text, and misunderstanding is common. I made a complete fool out of myself to Nerfmonkey once(on the Haven), it was completely my fault. I still feel really bad about that....I just snapped and said a bunch of stupid insults, which is completely out of character for me. |
