Just so you guys know, I won't be on the IRC Chat until school starts because, well...

MSN dial-up + crap computer = too much trouble to download and install anything

Once I get my computer set up at school (only 2 years old and on high-speed internet), though, I'll download Pidgin or some such program.

You know, you might want to try getting Free Download Manager. Its a small download, and it really speeds up downloads....Its a must on dial-up.

Does it work with your browser (like Fire Fox add-ons), or is it a completely separate program?

Its just separate program, whenever you start a download it pops up. Whats cool is you can pause or save download for later, so its good on a slow connection.
